People Incorporated announces Michelle “Mimi” Larrivee as Director of Workforce & Community Partnerships
Larrivee brings decades of youth experience to new position
Fall River (June 9, 2023) – People Incorporated has named Michelle “Mimi” Larrivee as its new Director of Workforce & Community Partnerships, a position that oversees several youth programs and the Agency’s affiliate organizations, such as the Diabetes Association, Inc. Programs include the Community Engagement Center at the Resiliency Preparatory Academy; Urban Youth Collaborative; the Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes; and Youth Exercise, Sports, and Supports (YESS).
Larrivee joins People Incorporated with over three decades of working with Fall River-area youth as the Teen Director and a program director at her previous youth-serving nonprofit organization. A current member and Vice Chair of the Fall River School Committee, Larrivee also serves on the city’s Youth Violence Task Force, the Fall River Anti-Bullying Task Force, and is co-coordinator of the Mayor’s Youth Council.
“I’m proud to continue my work with our community’s youth, this time alongside the wonderful and caring staff at People Incorporated. This organization brings so many services and supports to people who need them, and I am excited to be a part of that work,” said Larrivee.
“Mimi has already proven to be a valuable asset to our program team,” said People Incorporated’s President & Chief Executive Officer Megan Stirk. “She has hit the ground running with the programs she manages – notably with the Urban Youth Collaborative graduation and preparing for the summer at Camp Jack – and I’m looking forward to seeing the programs grow and prosper under her leadership.”
