The Women’s Edge and The Boston Globe Name People Incorporated to Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts
Annual award highlights women business leaders who are making a significant impact on the state’s economy

Boston (October 27, 2025) – On October 24th, The Women’s Edge, along with its partner The Boston Globe, held its 25th annual Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts and included People Incorporated on this prestigious list. The honorees were recognized during a celebratory breakfast event, featuring Governor Healey and keynote Deesha Dyer, among other speakers.
Megan Stirk, President & CEO of People Incorporated in Fall River, is ranked as #63 on the list, representing her fifth successive appearance in the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses. “All of the women on this list are doing incredible work – not only for their companies and organizations, but also for Massachusetts and for the advancement of the status of women in the workplace. I’m honored to be named among these dynamic figures, but I am even prouder that People Incorporated is once again recognized for the amazing work it does every day.”
This is the 25th year that The Women’s Edge – a Boston-based nonprofit organization devoted to advancing women in leadership positions — created the list through a nomination process and reviewed both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and the 13th year that the list was created in collaboration with The Boston Globe. In addition to revenue or operating budget, factors considered in the evaluation included workplace and management diversity, board makeup, and innovative projects. The full list is published in the Globe Magazine at bostonglobe.com/magazine.
