2020 Legislative Breakfast
SouthCoast Human Service Advocacy
The SouthCoast Human Service Advocacy Legislative Breakfast was held on Friday, January 24 at White’s of Westport. The agencies in the room represent more than 3,000 constituents who work and live in communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
This event brought together legislators, direct care staff, individuals and families, and the leadership of ten human service organizations serving Southeastern Massachusetts to discuss the workforce crisis facing the human service field.
We thank the legislators who joined us to hear testimony from individuals, families, and direct service professionals about the impact of the workforce shortage, and the need to make the Human Services Workforce Initiative and the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget Ask a top priority.
